Proletariat
Theatre was given the script Overexposure by David Sanderson. Overexposure is a 10 minute comedy about a
young girl who receives a visit from her mother and together they explore the notion of life in the theatre, or perhaps, theatre
in life. Jessa Brocklebank played Sharie, the young girl, and the mother was played by Kathy Lee.
The
Page to Stage festival was presented 9/09 - 9/25 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center.
About the author:
David Sanderson fell into the theater world by accident
over a decade ago. He started as an actor and has since explored nearly every aspect of theater on stage and behind
the scenes, with the exception of costume design (he leaves that to people with real talent). In recent years David
has concentrated more on the way, way behind the scenes world of script writing. In 2009 his short play Christmas,
Jell-O Surprise, and Uncle Stan won the Best Production prize at the Wasatch Theatre Page-To-Stage Festival.
He has a script being used by Hunt Mysteries, with a second script tentatively slated for their busy Christmas season.
David is back at the Page-To-Stage in 2010 with two scripts - Overexposure in the Short Shorts
show and Steve Scorpio and the Frogg Sisters in the Fables Project.
